On my present RR I have a dog guard fitted above the rear seat. When I
orderd my new RRS I orderd a cargo barrier which I presume acts has a
dog guard. they dont seem to make a dog guard that fits above the rear seat. The problem is, will I be able to use the rear load space security cover which pulls out and clips onto door. Anyone with dogs got any answers?

I have an unruley dog that i like to take out with me sometimes but i wouldnt leave him alone anywhere where there is someting that he can chew, so i bought a wire kennel which i got from my local pet shop, it comes as a fold away item with a metal base and a locking door and it fits perfectly in the back of my RRS, it cost £45 and when not in use folds away and lives in the garage. It saves the dog making a mess in the back after hes been offroading or wading. some of my Previous cars

I haved the RRS dog guard and confirm that you can use the loadspace cover with it installed. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

She would kill me if I tried locking her a cage.

She answers to the name: Wife aka Dragon.  Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

We had the same issue regarding keeping our Cocker safely in the rear of the car. We invested in a dogbag, sort of a self contained mini tent for the dog. Take a look at:-

You can get the 'bag' in various sizes, cost less than £100 and it works very well since the dog is in his own 'cave' he is much more subdued and if he has an 'accident' you can wash it out very easilly. Keeps the rear of the car tidy too.. !  P400e HSE Portofino Blue and Ivory Seats.. it's like a yacht!!

Thanks V A , have 2 dogs & set of golf clubs. When the dogs are not in the
back, the clubs are there & need to keep coverd up.
Hey Guy's, great sense of humour especially TB , but think you're barking up the wrong tree.

With the head rests in the "up" position - who needs a dog/cargo barrier ?

We have a large Yellow Labrador - apart from the dog hairs everywhere - He loves it in the rear  
" WITH MORE EXTRAS THAN A HOLLYWOOD EPIC "
