Advice please.

I need some advice. The G4 RRS are now on the market I can basically swap my present RRS for one but there are a few downsides. Most importantly is that the G4's are all petrol and if I decided on one my fuel bill would increase to about £120 Per week. Do I do the swap or keep the present RRS and add the winch, underbody protection, roof rack etc over time? Would it be cool to drive the G4 or is it too orange? Persoanlly I think the zambezi with all the bits looks really good but then the G4 is a G4 Confused Confused 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

U know my stance on this mate.. the 4.4 engine is the put off.. plus its very orange as kaine said.. plus you may not beable to achieve a decent part ex price for it in the future, so may be forced to sell it private which you may not be arsed to do to be fair..

VA, you know you want the G4 Sport. Stop trying to talk yourself out of it.

You need to sit down and calculate how much it would cost to fully kit up your Zambesi Silver RRS TDV6. Then work out how many weeks of extra petrol this would pay for in your new G4 Sport.

Plus you will never loose the orange G4 on a busy carpark. Laughing Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

At least if you put all the goodies onto yours when you decide to swap it you can take them off again and nobody will know youve been offroading, you will never get away with it with the G4 some of my Previous cars

Says it all VA Exclamation

I think if you can live with the fuel then you should go for it you obviously want something different and the G4 is the ultimate different.

Malaysia 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

2 reasons not to go for the G4..

1. The Orange is too loud

2. If you're going for a petrol, why the 4.4? It should be the 4.2 SC! Malaysia Boleh!

VA I thought you always wanted a Vesuvius 4.2 supercharged If your going to buy a 4.4 G4 I would wait for a decent Vesuvius to come on the market I don't know how much they are going for but maybe it's time to think with your head and not your heart. This is the problem with cars I do the same go for what you've always wanted remember the volvo episode you always wanted a D3 and in the end you got one.yYou don't want to be thinking when you see a Vesuvius for sale oh I should have bought that. MISERY - it's not that bad is it? Crying or Very sad I'm leaning towards keeping the silver RRS and adding the bits. Looks good in silver
