Having chosen the SE version of the Sport I've always felt that the Mio/Garmin/TomTom SatNav 'stick on dash' products didn't really suit the style of the car. So I decided to invest in the latest Alpine 64 bit DvD controlled, touch screen remote controlled product. The benefit is that the touch screen fits very well into the centre dash alcove and does a very good job in impersonating the actual LR product. The unit is set as 'handbrake on' which means you can change navigation settings/destination on the move by touch screen or with a neat remote control.

Judging by this Disco3 post it is possible to input video from a secondary source to the standard LR screen.. Still await my engineers formal reply since you need interaction with selecting reverse gear too. http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic475.html P400e HSE Portofino Blue and Ivory Seats.. it's like a yacht!! A few of the guys over on Freel2 have managed to integrate their TomToms neatly into the slot where there should be a satnav on their cars. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
