I must admit I am getting off with listening to the multi coloured knitted hat, knitted jumper, pink Doc Martin boot, left wing, tree hugging, pot smoking, daisy chain making brigade. Its hypocritical to pick on 4x4 users. My old VW Golf VR6 used the same amount of fuel as the RRS. The only way to solve the 'problem' is to ban all cars - even the lefties 2CV's.

I was in a seminar today about paint systems for superyachts The amount of VOC (very orrible crap) the painting process produces can in the extreme cases cause local smog.

Its the industrial / commercial entities that need to reduce the amount of emmisions and that is where the efforts should be concentrated not the easy targets.
