Tonight when leaving work I put my foot on the brake and there was a strange sound & clunk sensation? It was linked to the gear selector, when in P ...... if I took my foot off the brake and reaplied it.... It would do the same sound each time. It sounded like a relay operating??? you could also feel this noise if you know what I mean ???

Well, if its that loud perhaps you should check it out. It should actually be more of a 'feel' than a sound. But this happened over night.... its a right old clunky click and you can also feel it through/via the gear selector if you hold it at the same time as you press on the footbrake.
