United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost
Aston Martin

Has anyone else heard the news that Ford are now looking at bids for Aston Martin?

Apparently about 30 companies/ bidders have made themselves known so far, including the infamous 'Alchemy' Venture Capital Firm, of Longbridge fame. And former Ford CEO Jac Nasser.

The price, if Ford do decide to part company with the luxury marque, could top $1.5billion. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

England 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Rimini Red

This news has been around a long while in financial circles and was airing before Bill Ford sacked himself and the bean counters decided on a stem the losses strategy that retained Jaguar and LR. A possible management buy out is also rumoured – that would be my favourite having owned 3 and still having 2, I think the present management from a customers point of view is the most clued up but whoever takes I hope it’s not alchemy or Mr (Sir Carlos hon) Gosn and his Renault lot. The frogs, the real old enemy owning Aston Martin, no, perlease, no. Even with shake that ass baby adverts, whatever next?

I would have liked JCB to have got Jag though, they have the equipment to bury the Bristol Jag dealership and do the brand a lot of good in the west country as a consequence. 11 XFR

08 RRS TDV8 HSE with the good bits taken off the first RRS

05 RR Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red (Rimini Brown at events), Stormer wheels (original 19's for events), PTI, towpack. TV tuner (now driven by an employee)

1923 Ford Model T (serious ground clearance)

FFRR TDV8 Vogue my07 (wife won't let me use it in case I go to Salisbury with VA in it)

plus some other bits n' pieces

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I read in today's Autocar that the Chinese also made a bid but "Ford would not sell to them as they are worried about the Chinese getting so much technology" Ford doesn't seem to realise that the Chinese Government can afford just to go out and buy that technology from the same makers as Ford bought it from, they have the money after all, and more of it than Ford.
Anybody for a Rongwei Martin then? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
