Propsaft - Rubber Gone - Replacement

So during my MOT I got an advisory for Porpshaft rubber wearing.

The garage can replace with a reconditioned one for around £500.

Looking online, and throug the forum posts, it doesn't look like too hard a job.

Prices for replacements go for £100-£1,000.

Does anyone have a brand or seller they have used they that they are happy with and they could recommend? L320 Range Rover Sport 2008

If you want a complete replacement propshaft go for a GKN one, from soomeone like Island 4x4.

Got my bearing from eurocar parts, good quality, you'll have to split the prop to do it

As an eager amature, how hard is it to split a propshaft? L320 Range Rover Sport 2008

It’s a pain to reassemble

Have to hold these 2 heavy tubes together while someone else feeds the greasy ball bearings back in.
Then check you have it correct, so the prop CV can flex.

Probably also need circlip plyers to split. And all the fun that comes with. Finding the holes in grease
