Access height fault fix.

We have just had family stay with us, our daughter had her leg in plaster after a break, never trust a Horse!

Anyway, as sods law would have it, the access height on my wife's RRS decided to stop working.
I did a quick search and found the solution. I removed the silencer/filter off the compressor then tried access height without it, it worked, I then cleaned it in Isopropyl Alcohol and gave it a blow out with an air line, refitted it and it was back to normal and working perfectly.

Now, it may be my imagination, but the car seems to ride much better, although a blockage on the exhaust side of the compressor would make me believe it would affect the ride.
Anyway, all's good and it was a really simple quick fix.

Cheers. Les. A Cheshire expat in France.

Glad this fix worked. The other culprit can be the height sensor. Had 2 go as they are exposed to dirt. Evoque HSE Dynamic

The compressor filter is to be replaced every 30k miles (IIRC) according to the maintenance schedule. Regards etc.,
