Hope everyone has had JLR Recall on Towbar Mod ?

Personally havent had a problem , but the bracket mod seemsto be a good idea.

I'm happy mine is a brand new Brink/LR detachable tow bar I bought last year.

I took mine into Land Rover a couple of weeks ago, I took the kit and signed the waiver they make you sign.

My tow bar being new it 100% solid and does not rattle whatsoever.

I'll probably never use the kit, as I'm confident it's good.

I know that most people either Discovery or Sport sometimes leave the detachable tow bar in place 100% of the time, they obviously rust and the metal rusts/delaminates and causes the fit issue on the wedge.

I was happy also to take it in, the young lass took the mileage, gave me the kit and I signed a couple of documents and jobs a good un.

Totally agree.
Never had a prolem myself , and used a lot .
I have not been in for the signing yet.
