I’m no expert but I have a 2016 diesel and I like you I’ve always kept my cars charged with a C-Tek.

Thank you for that, like you I am not a fan of start/stop, how did you disable it?

I can’t remember the model of the charger but it was one of the maintenance type chargers, if it helps I can get the model number in the morning.

Don’t connect the -ve lead to the battery attach it to an earth point or chassis. This is to allow the BCM to work as it should. |

I have a 2015 year RRS and use my CTEC charger on the terminals under the bonnet. It charges up both batteries from there. |
