South Africa 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Bonatti Grey
L494 deployable electric side steps install

Hi all so I've been eyeballing these deployable running boards since I got this car. My tiny, elderly mother sometimes drives with me and has a hard time getting into the car even at access height, so I figured these would do the trick. OEM is ridiculously expensive relative to car value so I went for the ones on eBay.

The set I received look pretty solid. Heavy brackets and motors.
Encountered my first issue when I uncovered the mounting points - none of the holes had thread in them! Read a comment on an install video saying this was a pre-2014 thing. My car is a MY2013 as far as I know.

With that in mind, does anyone know if I'd have the necessary wiring for these to actually work? There supposed to be a wiring a plug somewhere behind the left rear seat where I connect the supplied harness and control unit to, but if my car didn't come with threaded holes I'm wondering if it's lacking anything else that these need to be able to work.
Holes can be tapped of course, but getting into the electrics is a step too far for me.
Any advice would be appreciated
