21 inch tyre recommendations. On and off road.

Hi All,

My new to me RRS had 2 new front tyres fitted by the place I bought it from when they MOTd it. It had 4 pirelli scorpions on it when I viewed, but now has scorpions on the back and Iota ST68s on the front.

The ST68s are the correct size, but look like some kind of stretched tyre, are rubbish in the dry, scary in the wet, and absolutely useless offroad. I took it down some slightly damp rutted tracks today, and there's no way those tyres would ever climb out of a rut! I thought I was going to get stuck!

Anyway. My question is; what tyres would everyone recommend? I'm 99% on road, but I want the capability to do the odd bit of green laning. Should I just replace the brand new ST68s with some more scorpions, or is there a better tyre if I replace all 4 that fits my needs?

These are the 21 inch wheels by the way.

Hi there, personally I have never gone past Pirelli Scorpion Zero All Season, used them for years on disco's and rrs, always been happy with them on road and will take you anywhere you want to go off road.
