My son designed and produces this wireless charging tray for the RRS centre console. I have been using mine for a couple of years and have found it so convenient to be able to place in the centre cubby to charge my phone I wanted to share this with you all. I upgraded the media screen on my L494 and it a battery drain for the phone, the wireless charger keeps it topped up perfectly.

At the moment he only makes an option for the pre-facelift L494 & L405 2013-17 (fridge model) but is planning something for the facelift model too.

Looks good but still appears not to help with my pet hate.

If the cabling ran to the hinge end of the tray, you could open the fridge without having to disconnect the USB plug everytime you want a bottle of water!

I gave the same comment to Land Rover - a simple bit of thought would improve use and ergonomics.
