Parts for a 2007 Range ROVER Sport

Where are the cheapest online recommended suppliers as I need some expensive parts like 2 x EGR Valves, brake discs all round plus pads, front door lock

Thanks I'll take a look at that site today. I've looked at Rimmer Bros and they seem reasonable. Would you recommend OEM parts for the brake discs and pads?

Are these the EGR valves I need? They don't appear to come with gaskets/seals so assume I will have to source elsewhere?

The EGR valves look completely different to the ones on the RR sport 2.7TD. Is that correct?

Those that you linked are for a 3.6 TDV8 and are coolers not the valve - is says so - so what engine do you have - if a 2.7TDV6 then no they will not fit. 07MY RRS TDV6

I was just looking at the prices online for the EGR valves and gaskets and the prices and shapes of the units differ tremendously comparing the 2.7 and V8 diesel engines.

I priced up the 2.7 as the supplier didn't do the ones for the 3.6 and assumed they may fit the V8 which they don't
Mine is a 2007 HSE V8 3.6TD

I've been told my EGR valves and gaskets should be changed. Should the coolers also be changed as a precaution whilst the valves are being done.
Where's the cheapest place online to get the parts?

As the parts are being sold seperatly, it does appear you can buy just the EGR and not cooler, assuming you know what brand it is currently. and that you aren't losing coolant

I've no idea what make my current EGRs are as my local garage said one was leaking and recommended changing both.
They quoted me about £1500 to do the job hence shopping around to get the parts myself as I have a mechanic who will do the job

Any idea how long it would take to replace both EGRs and the drivers door lock?

That's what I thought but I've been quoted 8 hours at a labour charge of £420 with no vat. Is that reasonable compared to main dealer labour charges?

Does anyone know where I can get 2 new EGR VALVES including gaskets for a 2007 Range ROVER HSE V8TD?
The best price so far is £518 including vat from Craddocks
