Weird Restricted Performance only after 4 hours drive

I know this is a common issue for TDV6 engines but mine only occurs in long runs after around 3-4 hours continuous driving.

The fault codes:
P22CF-71 - Turbocharger turbine inlet valve control circuit - Open
P22D2-77

The car drives fine full-throttle smooth engine but in long trips (which I use the car the most) it gives me RP and the above fault codes.

So far i have done the following with no success:
CSOV Solenoid replacement.
CSOV actuator clean check and lubrication moving freely.
Checked vacuum hoses at the front of the engine everything seems fine.
EGRs seem to work just fine and held open steadily.

I have no idea where to go next no mechanic is able to advise what is wrong with the car. Could this error be related with TSOV? I guess all the vacuum solenoids work within the same system so I guess fault in one of them could trigger these fault codes?

Looks like the turbine intake solenoid sticking, see the DTC list below: -

thanks for the info. Which one is the turbine intake solenoid? Is it for the TSOV at the back of the turbo or the CSOV the bypass valve behind the intercooler? Isn't it weird that this happens only after long drive which implies that something gets heat-soaked and doesnt operate as normal

It's to control, the TSOV on the rear of the secondary turbo. I guess the solenoid coil could be breaking down under sustained heat soak.

Thanks for the guidance i will check the TSOV and update. With my logic it could be that actual TSOV got some carbon build up and upon high temps its expanding and getting stuck, but hopefully is just a solenoid. Has anyone experienced removing and cleaning the TSOV resolves the problem?

You could try exercising it with a vacuum pump to see if its holding vacuum and closing smoothly as they do clunk when closing. I'd still go for the solenoid being the problem!

I agreesounds like the solenoid is more reasonable. Also there is another solenoid on the from the rh side of the vehicle (secondary turbo side) where the vacuum lines go before the TSOV. Could this be the one or the one in the front of the engine?

Hi, after some research i found that the above is the solenoid which controls the TSOV but it seems that i cannot find the new part. It is sitting in the red circle in the diagram to give an idea about the location. I will do some more research and also try to test TSOV itself if easily accessible from underneath
