Facelift aircon control module backwards compatibility?

My MY2014 RRS aircon control buttons have gone all sticky and in an attempt to clean them I might have ruined a few.
I see lots of aftermarket knockoffs on sites like AliExpress for a lookalike version of the MY2018? (the facelift model). The one with the screen instead of black buttons.
But they'd cost about the same as getting a used but mint original part off eBay. So i figure why not get the real deal.

Does anyone know if they are backwards compatible though?

Looking at the pics, I'd say no.
There's no hazard button on the facelift panel or a slot for the CD player.

Agreed. Would have to go for an aftermarket version.
