Sat here waiting for a new windscreen to be fitted (long story) and the bonnet release latch has just snapped off!!

He thinks he can still fit the new screen, but any idea of how I can get to the caple? It's just the plastic latch that's snapped.

I can't quite work out, how to remove the plastic around where the latch is located.

Not done the RRS but done loads of other cars and it's always roughly the same.
Remove the door trim/seal and pry the panel off. Check for any screw covers etc and pry carefully, peering in to see whether it's a screw or a clip. 99% of the time, it's just a friction clip and it can be pulled out with a bit of effort.
