New 2018 RRS autobiography owner

Hello All,

We picked up our 2018 RRS this weekend and so happy with it. It's a very unique paint which attracted us to the car.

I will be asking for advice as this is my first RRS.

I think the colour is velocity blue. It really suits the RRS. The interior looks great too. Enjoy

The colour is called SVO PREMIUM PALETTE BLUE and is Matt in finish. Looks better in the flesh tbh.

Ah is it the Matt finish. Can’t really tell in the photos. That can’t have been a cheap option from new

Yeah I reckon it wouldn't be cheap. Glad I didn't pay it 😂

Looks fantastic.

Good to see it's an actual paint and not a wrap. Wraps are a good way of hiding a multitude of problems. 2021 P400e Autobiography

Don’t worry about repair bills until something breaks. Just keep it maintained according to the service schedule and you should hopefully be fine.

Lots of scare stories out there, but not all cars are affected by huge repair costs. 2021 P400e Autobiography

I purchased a 3 year warranty via a 3rd party company which will cover major failure up to the value of the car. I know some people think they aren't worth it but if the engine goes bang, which I've read about happens, it will be covered. I've also booked the car in for a major service which is the timing belt etc earlier than needed just to cover all bases.

You will always hear about horror stories and I've had them in the past with previous vehicles owned.

You can only try and do your best with maintenance and trying to prevent the worst happening.
