United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Bonatti Grey
Adaptive Cruise/Speed Limiter issue

Hi All, just come from a Porsche Taycan back to yet another RRS! 2025 460e Autobiography..
The problem I am having is that when in adaptive cruise, it does NOT adapt to new speed limits like my Porsche did. It just bongs at me and i have to press buttons. So annoying.
The car recognises new speed limits in Speed Limiter, so why not in Adaptive Cruise? Such a poor implementation of technology. Had the car a couple of months and the amount of button pressing is driving me nuts!
Porsche Innodrive is so good in comparison. Slows down for limits, roundabouts and so on. Range Rover does none of this - or am I missing a setting somewhere?

Any advice would be great. Range Rover Sport 2025 460e Autobiography

Plus many other non landrover, including BMW and Audi, neither of which satisfy as much as a range rover - when it's working properly!

Is there not a setting in the pivi pro for that feature to switch it on and off?

Hi,

You have a choice of EITHER Adaptive Speed Limiter which will slow the vehicle down if the speed limit reduces and allows YOU to accelerate to a new higher limit when applicable

OR

Adaptive cruise control where using the ADAS systems you merely have to press then”RES” button to accept the new higher or lower limit.

The annoying bongs for the limit can be permanently silenced in Pivi, but the other ADAS systems need to be set to “Low” or “Custom” by pushing the button on the left hand side of the steering wheel after each stop/start cycle.

Yes, aware of that. Porsche definitely combine the two which makes sense, and I believe other manufacturers do to. I cannot understand why Range Rover haven’t combined adaptive cruise with automatic speed limit adjustment? All the tech and software is in the car? I seem to spend my life pressing buttons constantly in this car rather than driving… Range Rover Sport 2025 460e Autobiography
