Belgium 2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Java Black
L320, 2010, RRS TDV3.0 Diesel, died while driving on freeway

Short introduction of the maintenance. 10K ago, DPF replaced and passed the tests. 8K ago, timing belt replaced by garage specialized in this Brand (300K). BT module of the car is only working a short time after being reconnected (by me), most likely broken

Recently my car needed a fix soon for the known oil leak cooler on top of the engine (bad seals that need to be replaced). Oil visible on top of the engine and drips under the car but not yet on the floor..

I was driving with my family (and dog) in the car on a freeway in NL when the car started to make a noise (sounded initially like a flat tire, but came louder pretty quick). Parked the car in a safe place and saw that my battery indicator was on. Checking the car on a flat tyre there was none. Checked the belts and all are still as intended. Oil level OK.

Called my son at home to pick us up at that side and bring the laptop to retrieve the fault codes. Meanwhile the car has been transported to the garage that replaced the timing belt, because it is assumed that they can diagnose the fault.

I retrieved the following codes:
U0256-87 & B1311-87.

My main concern is not the error codes (for the moment), but the knocking before stalling. Someone familiar with a similar issue (especially what caused the knocking in the motor department)

Thanks for your input
