2013 L320 Suspension air compressor question.

Good afternoon all

after many weekends of procrastination I finally decided to tack my suspension error, which is basically the air tank filling too slowly.

Checked system and have no leaks so I presumed it was the compressor on its way out, So today I dropped it out.

My question is can any one identify this compressor, its clearly been replaced before as the car is a 2013 and the compressor was checked by Billy in 2018 Very Happy

Clearly not genuine but has lasted up to 7 years, suggestions for replacement greatly received.

OK so my googling find this to be an Arnott P-2815 Air suspension compressor. £565.00

So must be fairly decent, any one with experience of these can they be serviced to tested for faults?

Thanks

Ok so being the person I am... and a life moto of

If it ain't broke fix it 'til it is........

I started to strip this thing apart, starting with the obvious the drier chamber... well I think I have found the problem, the first filter was damp and running my pick over it actually squeezed to liquid like a sponge. under that the desiccant is soaked.. litterally sticking together with moisture.. this would severely restrict the flow through the chamber and then cause the tank to fill slowly.

I have ordered new filters and desiccant to see if this cure the issue.. ill let you know.

Cheers

CJS
