United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Autobiography Stornoway Grey
RANGE ROVER lettering

Hello,

I’m looking to buy replacement RANGE ROVER lettering for bonnet and tailgate.

Land Rover want £85 per word, so £340 for the privilege.

Can anyone recommend a reputable supplier of aftermarket/copy titan silver letters for front and rear with a suitable template also please.

Ideally a supplier and a link if you can, I’ve asked on other forums and they say look on eBay, but there’s loads. I was after a personal recommendation for fit, form and quality.

Mine is a 2010.

Thanks in advance

Dean

I bought silver ones for mine from Ebay, but then changed my mind and bought some black ones from Aliexpress.

I imagine they're all made in the same Chinese factory, so take your pick for the best price.

Be sure to get ones that come with a card mounting template or you'll end up with them 'wonky'.

A tip: The easiest way to remove the old sticky is with one of these - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Power-TEC-91488-S...mp;sr=8-24

Isopropyl alcohol works well at removing the 'bits' left.

I found petrol is the stuff to use for removing the glue. Soak a piece of kitchen roll in petrol. Place it against the glue, leave for a couple of mins, then the residue just rubs off with your thumb. Give the area a clean with polish or swirl remover then a wipe with panel wipe & your good to go
You will probably find the template does not match up with all the letters, so I cut them individually, fitted over the original letters, then filled in the gaps with cardboard. I then increased the template depth to the bottom of the bonnet, so I could get the exact position once the old letters were off. See pic, you get the drift

Mine are currently titan silver on a stornoway grey coloured car.

Not sure if black might be a bit bold.

Can you PM me the pictures so I can get an idea?

Thanks

The only trouble with Aliexpress letters is the sticky backs are a touch too thick.
From the front they look great, but you can see a small outline of the white backing from above, L320 Range Rover Sport 2008

Not on the ones I received. At first glance, I thought the sticky backs were too thin, but they were perfect Range Rover Sport (gone): Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S: Range Rover Fifty P400e

I got my letters and badges from these guys. You can also get a template and a gadget to get the glue off.
Mine have been on for 18 months and no problems yet.

Powerful don't sell lettering anymore, only the templates.

I think I'd like to find like for like, the titan silver lettering from somewhere if anyone can send me a link to a supplier.

Cheers Dean
