So yesterday I had the bong of doom😔gearbox fault and limp mod, pulled over to plug my code reader in and pulled PO601(internal control module memory checksum error) reset but came straight back, managed to reset it long enough to get it out of park and limped it home…..painful.

Not much info on this fault code in relation to Land Rover but what there was indicated at fault with main engine ECU which apparently controls the gearbox as well as the engine.

So I’m thinking mechatronic unit and call the recycler but then remembered hard reset, worth a try I thought can’t hurt…….well it worked and all good so far🤞🤞

So she lives again. Steve
