Not really difficult to try, but easy to say I guess if anyone has the confidence to give it a go, couple of red scotch locks and 3 meters of wire from the likes of Halfords, pop out both rear light units takes about 30 seconds each or ask the local thieving scrote to do it for you   | ||

 . Green and Purple wire on the plug/connector for each lamp and connect one side to the other and see if that works, would have thought the worse you can do is blow a fuse.
