Hi, I am deep into the dreaded restrictive performance state following a pin hole in top water hose, caused by the JLR fitted protective sleeve moving and the sound proofing cover cutting into hose. When replacing hose, the thermostat manifold fell to pieces, requiring a replacement.

You pic is of the EGR Cooler Bypass Actuator which is vacuum controlled. There is an EGR unit on either side of the engine.

TSOV is the actuator on the back of the secondary turbo

Sorry DM, you're totally correct TSOV is rear of turbo, I think his problem is more likely the CSOV as it's had a coolant maniflold change.

I'm voting for a vac pipe under the throttle body first, pr the vac pipe from the solenoid to rad pack as a second guess ![]() |

I'd concur, the vacuum pipe from the solenoid to the csov is quite brittle and is a prime candidate to get clobbered doing the coolant manifold. I'm sure you see enough brittle pipes day to day! |

Update for 2 RRS and Disco-Mikey who helped me in my search to resolve the dreaded 'Restrictive Performance' on RR Sport TDV6 2010.
