Ok so I have just bought a RRS 4.2 supercharged 2005. I have a “ vehicle lean warning “ on the dash and also an amber vehicle with the two arrows above on the dash. I treated myself to a icarsoft v3.0 when I bought the car and reading through the faults it says “ permanent “ fault on the dsc followed by code u0416-86. I’ve done the basics checked battery voltage fuses that kind of stuff. The vehicle will rise and lower as it should but I’m not sure where to go now.

When I had that it was a yaw sensor (I thunk) that needed calibrating.

Hi there - might be worth starting with checking the connections to the ACE valve block - you’ll find this underneath the car, below the drivers seat (assuming right hand drive) … you can do this with a bit of patience, and without having to dismantle stuff ….

… put the car into off road height, then ‘fool it’ into extended off road height (do this by putting a jack against the chassis whilst in off road height, then tell the car to lower to normal - it’ll realise that its beached, and raise a couple more inches). If you’re new to these, you’ll only be able to get the height to change with the doors closed, so wind the window down and reach the switch

The valve block has 4 sensors on it (and the yaw sensor is nearby) - check the cables for breaks / wriggle them about and see if you can get a different reading on the iCarSoft.
