25MY Service Frequency Change

Just been told that 25MY cars will need to be serviced every two years rather than annually. Not entirely sure this is a good thing if past experience is anything to go by. This is at least for Diesels - not sure about PHEV and the P400 has been discontinued for 25MY anyway.

Does that mean they've gone from a 24-month service schedule for MY23, to a 12-month service seclude for MY24 and now back to 24-month for MY25?

Seems odd, if so.

My car, which is an MY23 PHEV, is on a 24-month schedule. 2023 P440e Dynamic SE

Hi,

My thoughts exactly.

SWMBO’s D250 3L 6-pot Defender is 24m / 21,000 mls.

My 24MY D300 3L 6-pot RRS AB is 12m /10,500mls.

If this is true about 25MY then:-

1. What’s changed?
2 Are LR going to revisit 24MY? (Hopefully before October! Big Cry )

Think I would have mine serviced (at least oil and filter) every year irrespective of schedule… lots of examples of long service intervals affecting oil quality and engine issues.

Rowdie,

Go to the Online Service History web page, enter your VIN and then you can view your service schedule.

https://osh.landrover.com/

Use the “service information” tab at the top.

When the next page comes up, select “service type” and your schedule will come up.

When I ordered mine a year ago I was told it would need a service every 24 months but when I picked it up last week they said it is now every 12 months. How can some be 12 months and others 24 months? Not very happy about it tbh. Mines a PHEV
