My dealer rang me today to say my RRS (TDv6 HSE Rimini Red) will be delivered on 15th December (nearly 2 weeks earlier than planned) | ||

Posts: 24350 | As you correctly assume, Smarticus, this DB finish really does nothing more than line the dealer's pockets. It seems to be a LR-wide upsell pre-delivery. I managed to get some mats and a tank of fuel thrown in - you will be lucky to get much more than that I think (not because I'm any sort of bargaining demon, but just because there's no need for LR dealers to work to get rid of RRSs right now).  | ||

. The excitment is mounting, but I now have a few decisions to make. The dealer wants to know if I want him to treat the vehicle to a Diamondbright finish for £299. He says it will keep the vehicle looking like new for years. I think it will just add to his profits. Is this a worthwhile option or not ? Also what "extras" have others managed to get their dealer to throw in, such as floor mats, tank of diesel etc

Had various sorts applied to a number of Audis and made not a blind bit of difference. Plus its a waste of time if you change your cars regulary. The dealer will not give you a penny more when you take it back to part ex. SO NO is my advice
