Which options have any value when you come to sell?

Got a new RRS 460e Dynamic SE in Barassco Grey on order in with standard 21” wheels. Cut off date coming up to amend any options but which ones actual help make it more desirable when it comes to sell or part exchange later on?

The problem with asking this sort of question is that you're likely to get most answers just being the wish lists of the people replying.

But I would suggest the following are general:

1. Being an Autobiography, frankly

2. Ebony interior - multi-coloured interiors are personal choices so you rely on someone with a similar choice but black is universal. Even classic RR beige interior isn't usual in RRS. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

If its being part exchanged through a dealer the simple answer is none. Tim
RRS sold and replaced with a Skoda Kodiaq after appalling RR Dealer experience and LR inability to supply new cars in any sort of reasonable time frame..

Hi,

I had this discussion when looking at buying my first L494.

My options were to buy an HSE Dynamic and load it up with stuff I wanted or stretch to an AB, get 95% of what I wanted (and a lot of stuff I didn’t).

The answer was, when you come back to P/X one is an HSE, the other will always be an AB!!

So Timhum is correct - your options are worth nothing come P/X time.

I would agree with others - option are worth zero when it comes to sell/trade in.

However, they may make it easier to sell privately.

This, I think, is the key point. You're spending many tens of thousands of pounds on a car. Why spec it for someone else who will be buying it for much less than you are paying? Spec it for what you want. Even if spec made a difference, if you're driving it for 2 or 3 years, why drive something that isn't exactly what you want? You may as well buy second hand and save a chunk of depreciation cost. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
