Range Rover Vogue 2011

Mega flush? Is it worth doing. Had my car 9 years and it’s never had a gear box oil change. I’ve asked before and the places I’ve asked say if it’s not broken don’t fix it. Well recently it’s slow changing up gears only up hill it’s stay in gear a bit longer than before so I’m thinking maybe Low oil I have read about Ian Bodsy who seems like the right man for the job but where is he in the country? Or anyone else around Birmingham who is good?
Thanks
Bill

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Galway Green

I've had my RRS for nearly a year now, the previous owner had an oil and filter change done on the gearbox just over 10000 miles beforehand by an indy using genuine LR parts/oil.

I decided, without the gearbox showing any issues, to have it megaflushed just as belt and braces last July.

I must admit I haven't noticed any difference, and the indy who flushed it for me said that the old oil was clean but, I'm happy knowing that all the oil has now been replaced.

It's was just a personal choice for me.

Many thanks

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Bali Blue

Gearbox manufacturers recommend changing the oil at around 75k miles. The people who said if it's not broken leave it alone shouldn't be servicing landrover products. It's all about preventive maintenance. 2010 RRS, TDV8

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Cairns Blue

He's coming to me on the 20th Feb to do mine for a second time and my new neighbours D4. I had it done at 60k in 2018 and I'm now on 106k, also as mentioned above just preventative maintenance. A little bit far from you though. I'm reliably informed he resides in Telford.

You can get hold of him on 07770 638023.

Don't forget Disco Mikey (Dundee) does gearbox flushes. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.

Bodsy did mine at about 80k miles. Did both front and rear diffs also. Good service. Cant say I noticed any difference but it was done for preventative reasons. RRS HSE Dynamic SDV6 2014
