M1 delay information please

Going down to London tomorrow to see my parents and have been told there are some bad roadworks around the Milton Keynes area but nothing shows up on the Highways agency website, which is normally pretty good.
Can anyone give me accurate info?
Will use the A1 if there is going to be delays.

Should be clear - most people up north cann't afford cars! Roads are for us from the South and I wont be out tomorrow. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
