RRS tdv6 Arc delete belt diagram

Hi all, looking for some help I’ve googled this untill the cows come home bought belts and pulleys and my mechanic. Can’t seem to find a route for the drive belt to bypass the arc pump.

Current setup with arc pump at the bottom, however if you simply bypass it will no doubt rub on the tensioner before it gets to alternator. I’ve also bought a spare braket idler and shorter belt but apprently he said only one hole lines up on the idler.

I then wondered if you need to move the tensioner that’s above down to where the arc pump was as shown in the second picture (green tensioner)

Any help would be greatly appreciated as all I can find is TD5 bypass and no actual pictures of how anyone rerouted the belt. I’ve now bought 2 pumps of eBay and sent both back as they were shot.

Green is where the tensioner sits on a non Arc car.
Mikey says you need a new alternator bracket. (To mount the tensioner to)

Or just buy a decent new pump and do it properly. Wink 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Well after much research and not wanting to spend £1200 on the old battle bus arc pump just to drag a bowser round the site. I made my own bracket that replaces the pump.

I would recommend though if anyone wants one for road use, to change the roll bars to standard ones as she’s a bit boaty however I don’t use her on the road.

But if anyone wants one let me know
