SVR MY2020 exhaust sound

Looked at an SVR MY2020 yesterday at Christchurch dealer Very Happy

Lovely to drive to be fair, totally different to my FFRR 4.4 SDV8

But exhaust sounded different to what I’ve heard before on older models?
Had a test drive and left the valves open and had the wife rev it while I was at the rear it didn’t rev a great deal and didn’t give that growl noise? Range Rover Sport HSE TDV8 MY2010

First gen SVRs were the best sounding and are very raw to drive.

Facelift MY18 onwards cars are mapped differently have extra resonator's and they don’t sound no where near as good they also have a rev limit on them. MY14 Freelander 2 Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Ahh that explains it…..the rev limiter while stationary!

So making that “End of the world - Satan himself” type of growl when parked up (which we all must do) is non existent on the MY18 SVR’s? Range Rover Sport HSE TDV8 MY2010

Many facelift owners remove and replace exhaust system or take of a resinator and add in a X cross over pipe to make it sound like pre facelift SVRs MY14 Freelander 2 Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

I've found that on recent adverts, would this mod void a warranty? Although i have seen an SVR with Quicksilver exhaust tips on for sale on a LR forecourt Shocked Range Rover Sport HSE TDV8 MY2010
