Driveshaft/ Alternator Issue

Hi everyone, first post.
Supposed to collect D350 AB (black with cloud) this Tuesday but the dealer informed me Monday there was an issue with a driveshaft recall, apparently not enough grease between the shaft and the hub. Bolts were on back order, called them this morning they might have them today.
I have seen on the fullfat site that there are issues on new diesels with alternators packing up which is most concerning, and the 24my announced !!
Thoughts would be much appreciated.

Not heard of this before but at least they are sorting before you get it. Yes MY24 came live about 4 weeks ago and my order was converted over. Due to collect in Sept this year.

I too have read about this with brand new owners hav8ng a dead car and nothing can be done. LR trying to source a new parts supplier has been mentioned. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue.
