Dear Colleagues, what do you think about Dash Cam installation? I bought Garmin Dash Cam 67 W with Accessory Parking mode cable. On the previous cars I've used Garmin Dash Cam 55. Now you can see Dash Cam and how it looks in the the car.

I fitted a aftermarket front cam to my 2016 sport and was very pleased.
I have a new sport on order and have been considering the dealer fitted option as it then gets the 3 year warranty, however I don’t think the LR fitted cam has speed camera location as part of its software.
If I could find out who manufactured the LR cam then maybe it would be just some more software on the micro card.

I am also considering this as a dealer-fitted option. Would be great to hear from people who have experience using Dashcams before. Advantages and disadvantages of going with the dealer product etc

What are the biult in speed camera alerts, I didnt have this on my previous L494 Sport. Are you suggesting the the L461 has this biult in ?

Thanks for that, I asumme they are part of the Sat Nav on the L464, mine was a MY 2015 and it did not alert me to cameras. I would assume if the L464 had them the new model should have them as well.

I asked the dealer this question when I ordered but they clearly stated that this was not part of the cars system and it never has been, but what do they know

Alerting about fixed camera is built in the navigation system, I have RRS FE P530 and it alerts me when approaching to a fixed camera location. I have installed the factory dash cam and it is quite good, I recommend installing the factory dash cam.
