Happy New MOT

Well, Happy New Year all but happy that my RRS has passed its MOT for the next 12 months, along with having it's annual service. Got a few advisories about rust in various places and had front brake pipes replaced.

Managed just under 3000 miles in the year, just trying to work out where I've been to rack up that many

I know what you mean, I was looking at the mileage on the D3 just before I sold it and didn't realise how many miles I put on it this year until I remembered our long haul holiday around Scotland last May/June. Total from door to door was 2,080 miles.

Mine's done 43k+ miles in the two years I've had it. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Result! Had my L320 MOT'd again this morning. After waiting like an expectant father it passed with no advisories. With COVID/ lockdown I covered all of 4236 miles in last 12 months (about 2/3rds the normal annual mileage) There is no replacement for displacement - W O Bentley

Praise be to the Land Rover Gods! Had my L320 MOT'd this morning. Another year passing with no advisories. My mileage this year has dropped even further - this time 3604 miles in the last 12 months. This is about half of my pre-pandemic average. There is no replacement for displacement - W O Bentley

Ooh - thanks for reminding me about my MOT

Fiancee got her S/C in April 2018 and has done just under 5000 miles since then...

Another year - another MOT passed with flying colours. One advisory for a tiny bit of rust on a rear brake pipe. Now on 58000 miles, having completed just just under 4500 miles this year. Fingers crossed for the next 12 months There is no replacement for displacement - W O Bentley
