Has anyone removed a electric deployable tow system from a 2017 L494 RRS? I have a rear bodykit bumper so the tow bar isn't able to deploy so thinking of removing and selling on. I won't be towing anything so have no need for it. Need advice on what's involved, easy job? Is it a case of removing and thats it, no recoding or adding anything.

If you remove it you'll need the original bumper reinforcement bar,I have one of these available and am also after a deployable towbar for my 14 RRS so might be interested in yours.

I have successfully removed the deployable tow bar and replaced with a crash bar. I am now selling the tow bar but the wiring, Module and switch is still in the vehicle because it is connected to the sdnsods/PDC system.

But I have found a company that sell all parts needed to complete the install. www.famousfour.co.uk
This way makes it much more cheaper than anywhere.

I am wanting £650 for the tow bar system (collection only).
