2012 RRS boot not locking and opening again

Guys, so this happened today. Opened the boot with the key fob then when I closed it via the button it closed then beeped a few times and fully opened again.

fully unlocked and locked again and now ok. could this be a switch or sensor issue?

Will ask the obvious question, but it didn't happen to foul anything on the way down the first time? mine's done that a couple of times but only if I hadn't pushed something into the boot far enough.

No it fully closes first. Just been playing with it. Only does it when you open /close the boot when the car is locked. If unlocked it's normal. Very odd. Will try greasing the mechanisms tomorrow
