One of the Xenons has stopped working, can anyone suggest which component(s) I should replace? | understand there is the lamp itself plus aa ballast unit, anything else?

Thanks.

Am I right in thinking that the quality of light output deteriorates in time and the best practice would be to replace both and keep the one that still works as an emergency spare?
Just asking out of curiosity, mine are fine (well that's done it now).

'quality of light output deteriorates in time'

yep. I replaced the xenon bulbs only and made a huge difference. Pete

Problem solved, thanks for the suggestions. Replaced the lamp - Osram from ABD, £28 - and working fine now.

Thanks to Youtube, removing the headlamp unit was easy and needed to replace the sidelamp bulb anyway.

End.
