Today I was driving my wife’s car and somebody ran into the back of me. I rang my wife to Google the insurance claim line. She messaged me with the number so I could click it and get the ball rolling as I was a bit shaky. Turns out I’d rung fraudsters who’d set up a 03*** with the same name. Alas at home I rang the real insurer to find no record of the accident. Penny dropped and they said it quite common. So lessons learned whilst in a relaxed environment, put your insurance claim number in your phone, should you need ever to ring them.

Sorry to hear this Steve. How annoying, and aggravated by the false number... but at least you're OK which is the most important thing. Hope you get it all sorted.  Barrie.
