What Would You Do?

So I have my lovely new lightbar & the temptation is to tap into the existing driving light circuit (already fuse protected and relayed) and have it so that when I'm on main, they come on too. However, might be a bit of overkill day to day, so then you get to having them on a separate circuit so that you have to switch them on to attach to the main beam when needed. That in itself is a different issue as you might just want to have them fully on on their own. Then of course, there are 2 types of lights - driving lights and flood lights, each wired separately so again the choices double up...

These are actually E stamped, which is why they were stupidly expensive new. Regarding what you shine, the law states* as long as you don't dazzle other road users, which back in the day why I was more than happy to run 130W Cibies on my Impreza Very Happy

*that was from a great traffic police officer now passed after inhaling fumes at an accident he had to attend

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

When I was running an off road Discovery 1 with a light bar I had the light bar wired to main beam with an isolation switch to allow me to have main beam only

Never had a situation needing light bar without main beam so worked for me TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten
