rear door not locking

hi folks I've searched through threads but can't find answer
I've got a 06 4.2 SC and when I lock with key fob rear door doesn't lock
I don't get a beep when I set alarm. I can lock it from inside and unlock with key fob.
door will not lock like the rest do when I drive down the road.
could the lock switch be faulty or could it just need a bit of lubricant?
don't really want to pull door apart to many times if I'm best to just get a new locking mechanism
thanks guys and girls for your information

Hi,

its most likely to be the little motor inside the actuator thats passed its best, you can replace just that part about £5 but you need to take the actuator out and strip it down to replace the motor and your best stripping it first to make sure which motor to order, shaft length and gear on the end Question
so unless you have a selection ready its easier ( Whistle ) to replace the full unit.

My wrist and forearm are showing the signs of fat arm inside a small door space this morning Laughing

here is a link to when I did our FL2 locks, its a L/R thing Laughing

Thumbs Up
