I've tried the cheaper ones. They range from lasting 6 months, to being faulty out the box.

I’ve just had a GKN one fitted at the last service, it was picked up as faulty, so it was changed. I didn’t think it was tremendously expensive and I was told its a solid alternative to LR item. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue. |

My indy changed my rear prop shaft on my 2005 4.2L SC last September with genuine LR one.

GKN may be the OEM supplier to LR. The Advanced Factors site suggests that is the case, anyway. https://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/lr037028...5835-p.asp 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |

I fitted a GKN one on mine. It cost me £240 including delivery from island4x4. No point in scrimping on quality. Kev
