HDC Fault Error - Help?

Hi Guys,

Need some advice. I have a 2007 RRS S/C and two days ago when I tried to start the car, it wouldn’t turn over and made a click sound and that’s it. Tried a couple of times and it stumbled but started. Thought it was the alternator maybe but carried on and it was fine that day. I stopped and started during shopping trips. Yesterday it did the same thing but this time after a few turns it started and showed an error HDC Fault special systems programs off. Some light stayed on. I turned it off and started again and this time it started normally.

I did a quick google and one of the things was that the battery needs replacing. I was thinking I’ll start with that at first. Looking at Euro car parts and the cheapest one has a 3 year warranty https://www.eurocarparts.com/p/lion-017-ca...-444770171

Will this have sufficient power for the car? I'm not planning on keeping the car more then another 12 months.

Does anybody have any other advice?

Thanks

That particular 017 battery is just about man enough for the petrol cars, as they did fit lower capacity ones to the petrol as opposed to the diesel versions. Personally I would fit a higher capacity 019 as they are the same physical size.

Cheers
