Electric Steering Column Tilt/telescoping not working - l320

Hi all,

first post here, but been lurking for a while.
I've got a 08 3.6 TDV8 and the electric steering adjust has just stopped working. nothing else has issues.
there is no motor sound , clicks or anything like this, I just went to adjust the steering column the other day and nothing happened.

No fault codes, no other problems with the car, no fuses under the bonnet blown and from what I can tell the relevant fuses behind the glovebox are all intact as well.

If anyone has encountered this and was able to resolve then please do let me know, I'm all ears.
If anyone has any troubleshooting flows I could follow I'd be grateful for the link.

Thanks

Although I have no knowledge on the RRS (that's done it now!), my lad had an issue with the adjustable column on his lexus. There are 2 motors on his car, one for in/out and the other for up/down. if its not moving at all, I'd be inclined to think it's electrical rather than physical. On his car one of the motors was in need of a good lube.
Having checked the fuses, if you have a multi-meter, it may be worth taking the cowlings off and testing for power to the motors.

To be fair buddy, that was my next port if call
I"m fairly confident its an electrical break somewhere just found it odd that it failed worh no signs prior or any indication that something was going wrong.
Strangely enough, there are plenty of threads about this very subject in this forum yet none have a documented solution
