I have sadly sold my 2013 RRS L320 into the trade. Before the car was traded in I removed all the genuine Range Rover accessories I fitted during my ownership.

Over the next few days I will be listing these all on RRSport.co.uk.

This post is for the sale of a one-off project to carbon dip the engine cover. I had the work done professionally and the results were truly amazing!

The cover is in "as new" condition with no scratches or signs of wear. I only fitted it on special occasions like car club meetings.

This is the work that went into the project:

1. Remove the rubber locating tabs, oil filler tube rubber and sound proofing.
2. Degrease plastic.
3. Rub down plastic to provide a key for the primer.
4. Primer 1st coat.
5. Rub down primer.
6. Primer 2nd coat.
7. Rub down primer.
8. Float carbon fibre film on water tank.
9. Spray activating agent on carbon fibre film.
10. Dip cover in water tank with carbon fibre film floating on it
11. Leave to dry
12. Spray cover with 2K clear lacquer.
13. Bake cover in spray booth to harden lacquer.
14. Polish final finish.
15. Refit rubber fixings and sound proofing

I have reduced the asking price to £160 for a quick sale, I would prefer collection in person from Skegness.

Pity it is so large and you are in the UK (or is the problem me being in Australia).
I am looking for an engine cover for my RRS2010 3 litre.
They are a rare animal down here for some reason.
The Hydrodipping turned out really well... I am envious of whoever gets it.

Thanks for your message, glad you liked the end result of the hydro-dipping. I was considering having the A Pillar, D pillar and scuttle black trims done the same but was not sure of the durability if exposed to the UK weather.
