CD error

Apologies if this subject has been covered a million times but I couldn't find much in the search, basically we've had a 2010 HSE since last October and love it, having had a Disco 3 for 11 years this is a different class!

Everything has been working fine until Monday, the wife who shall always be obeyed has reported that on trying to put a disc in the cd player in the dash panel, it would not take it in and read cd error on the screen. if you push the eject button, it wurrs but nothing comes out, pretty sure there isn't a disc stuck in there but how would you check.

Any ideas please?

JJ

the pre facelift ones have 6 CD spaces.
Loading is not straight forward! You need to read the manual !
You need to tell it what slot to load first

Dunno if facelift is single CD.

That message does hint at something wrong though

According to the LR infotaintment section of the handbook, it reads as if it's a single slot on the dash with a multi player option in the boot inner panel, I checked and ours, does not have the multi player in the boot

Not sure on a MY10 facelift but on my MY13 you store contents of up to 10 cd's in the cd player memory accessed via the music menu, although that might be from when they changed the infotainment software on MY12 on cars.

Cheers

Isn't that for DVDs to watch films on rear screens?
