If you go on the autodoc uk website (also the best place to buy Brembo discs), search by your registration, and then by vehicle type, you can find out what was fitted to any vehicle and then compare.

Thanks Dave, Used Autodoc to purchase the Brembo discs and pads … far cheaper than Euro Car Parts even with their 50% discount on Brembo ‘special’ !! Advanced Factors we’re cheaper still but can’t get Brembo… alas… for the other family cars I would use them.. Thanks all again for your help! Ian |

Just like to thank Dave and Mikey for their assistance… Autodoc were excellent… full set of genuine Brembo front and rear discs and both sets of pads for £411.00!

Don't use copper slip on aluminium calipers. A non-metallic grease should be used, such as ceramic grease |

The copper reacts with the aluminium, causing galvanic (?) corrosion, and eats away at the aluminium

You said that you used ceramic grease and D_M said to use ceramic grease so you appear to have gone the right way already. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Hmmm not totally… I used the ceramic grease on the pad upper and lower surfaces and on the pins…
