Hi, the reason L/R fitted the FBH is to help the engine get up to operating temp quicker ![]() it also helps the cabin get some heat quicker as well, in stop start traffic in cold weather the FBH can fire up a few times its not just when you first start the car, if its below thresholds it will fire up again to help the engine, so you may get increased fuel use if its not working and increased engine wear (does depend on your journeys!) as said ![]() you should not have to have it disconnected either after a few faulty runs it will lock out and just not work. ![]() gone Porsche Cayenne 2020 gone Corris Grey HSE Dynamic 2016 gone Ipanema HSE lux 2010 gone Rimini HSE 2005 !! |
