Rear Light Cluster Replacement

Hi Guys Very Happy
Is it easy to change new for old rear light clusters or does it mess with the electrics etc?
Are they just "plug n play" or? Does it take long to fit?
cheers Thumbs Up

On a 2010 car they should be a straight swap plug and play, it used to take "thieving scroats" about 30 seconds to remove a pair without even opening the tailgate, so give yourself 5 mins and a cup of tea would be about right

Cheers

I replaced my old 2008 ones with the new LED ones from Powerful UK (https://www.powerfuluk.com/vehicles/range-rover-evoque-sport/sport-2010/lamps-light-upgrades/range-rover-sport-2012-spec-rear-led-lights-no-resistors.html). I got them with the resistor fitted and then its just a straight swap. As yours is 2010 it may be worth checking with Powerful as to which you need. And whilst you are at it get some security screws to reduce the chance of your new lights getting nicked (search on this forum for more details if interested) Robin

If you get the ones from PowefulUK then they supply some hex screws as well as normal ones to help to stop them being stolen.

I got a set of the Black/Clear ones around a year or so ago. Literally a 5 minute job....
Unscrew old ones, pull out, disconnect wiring.
Connect wiring to new ones, slide in place, put in new screws. Job done.

The actual longest part of the whole job for me was getting one of the wiring connectors off, as it seemed to want to stay for a while Laughing 2010 RRS 3.0 TDV6 HSE
